This Network has been designed to bring together participation and inclusion staff from across Victoria, whether you work for a State Sporting Association (SSA), Local Government Authority (LGA), Regional Sport Assembly (RSA) or any other peak body.

Following Wear It Purple Day (August 29), we are excited to welcome Kara Montoneri, from Proud2Play to our upcoming CSPN! Having studied and worked in the field for almost a decade, Kara is a passionate advocate for the inclusion of trans and gender diverse young people in sport.  This session will share valuable insights into the journeys that trans and gender diverse young people face as they affirm their gender, and will put a focus on how safe and inclusive environments positively impact wellbeing outcomes. 

Join us to discover how your sport can be a powerful tool for connection, support and help trans and gender diverse young people feel valued, safe and empowered to participate fully.

This interactive session is an opportunity to be part of creating welcoming sporting environments for everyone, broaden your understanding and strengthen your inclusive practice as well as connecting and sharing with those who work within the sport sector.
