Shifting the Goal Posts on Sports Betting

Can you remember consuming sport without betting ads?

Young people can't recall a time before sports betting, so they think it's normal and without risk. This concerns the community - 74 per cent of Victorians think young people are exposed to too much gambling advertising - but what can we do to shift the goal posts?

As part of Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2019, we've convened a panel of sporting pros to consider how betting has changed the game, what this means for our kids and where to from here.

If you're involved in sports and you care about kids, you need to attend this event.

Who should attend?

Ideal for people working in sport governing bodies, sporting clubs, LGAs and those involved in health promotion or social change initiatives in sport (particularly senior leaders, commercial, policy, planning or community roles).
