Panel members:

The panel will address the following:

  • Understanding Esports:
    • How are Esports consumed and by whom?
    • What type of Esports products exist?
    • How does the Esports ecosystem work and who are the key stakeholders in the Esports ecosystem?
  • Health and Participation:
    • What are the health impacts of Esports upon participants/spectators?
    • What is the level of exposure to unhealthy advertising and sponsorship in Esports?
    • How can we minimize the negative and maximise the positive health impacts of Esports?
  • Impact on sport:
    • What is the impact of Esports upon traditional sports participation? Are they mutually exclusive?
    • What is the opportunity for traditional sports to enhance relevance in the youth market using Esports as the vehicle?
    • What lessons can sport use from Esports to appeal to target markets??

Notes:

  1. Nominations for two director positions can no longer be submitted as it is past the due date of 2 October 2018
  2. Notice of Motion and other business must be submitted by no later than 31 October 2018
  3. Proxy appointments must be submitted by no later than 18 November 2018 to Vicsport CEO, Lisa Hasker via lisah@vicsport.com.au


Getting to Athletics House

Car:
For guests arriving by car, Athletics House has a major car park right outside it's doors. Entry to the car park is via Lakeside Drive which can be accessed via Albert Road, Queens Road or Fitzroy Street. You will be required to purchase a ticket upon parking to display on your dash. There is also limited street parking available within walking distance from the venue.

Once you arrive, if you are facing the VIS, turn right and walk around the outside of the stadium towards to Lake. There will be signs outside the Catherine Freeman Room.

Public Transport:
If travelling by public transport, Athletics House is easily accessible by tram. Both Route 12 (City to South Melbourne/St Kilda) Stop 130, and Route 96 (East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach) Stop 129 stop within short walking distance from the venue.
