2018 CEO Forum: Tackling Victorian Sport Issues

Vicsport are proud to welcome back the CEO Forum for another year. The CEO Forum is an all inclusive two-day event specifically tailored to CEOs of State Sporting Associations and Regional Sport Assemblies

Why should I attend this event?

The aim of this year's CEO Forum is to provide attendees with professional development and also an opportunity to discuss the major issues relating to their respective sports and Victorian sport as a whole.

The program over the two days will include the following:

• Keynote presentation by Olympian and Australian marathon great, Steve Moneghetti AM
• Exclusive presentation by Kate Palmer, CEO, Australian Sports Commission
• Presentation on Inclusion by Julia Symons, Community Relations Manager at Australia Post (former GM Diversity & Inclusion, Netball Australia)
• Workshop on governance and quotas by Anthony Bowd, Manager Strategic Projects, Vicsport along with VicHealth and Sport and Recreation Victoria
• Presentation on Integrity delivered by the Sporting Integrity Intelligence Group, Victoria Police
• Presentation on HR issues by HR Advice Online
• A presentation from Sports Marketing Australia on funding for events in regiosnl areas

Event Logistics

Forum Venue: Shepparton Sports City Pavilion, Packham Street, Shepparton. (Turn right off Brauman Street into Packham St)

Dinner / Accommodation Venue: Parklake Hotel, 481 Wyndham St, Shepparton

Transport: Delegates are responsible for their own transport to and from the Pavilion and Hotel (carpooling is encouraged).

Day 1: 10.30am - 5pm, followed by 7pm dinner
Day 2: 9.00am - 3.30pm

Cost: $340 incl GST (forum, catering, dinner and accommodation)
