Disability Access
According to the Australian Sports Commission, only a small proportion of the 19% of Australians with disabilities participate in regular sport and physical activity.
As a key stakeholder in the development of socially responsible, healthy and inclusive communities, the sport and recreation sector is playing a key role in creating more access opportunities for people with a disability and a number of excellent initiatives have been undertaken by a range of organisations.
